With over two decades of noodling and making music for myself, i’ve decided to jump into the deep end and start helping others make their music come to life.

My passion for sound design has driven me to constantly explore new techniques and tools, with a particular love for the endless possibilities, warmth and character of analog gear. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft, always striving to push the boundaries not only for myself but for whoever i am working with at that time. Working closely with artists to shape their sound and elevate their music remains the heart of what I do.

i’ve had the privilege of learning (and continuing to learn!) from some amazing audio engineers, producers and beat makers over the years. all of these folks have given me their attention and shared knowledge to ensure that i get better at whatever i am working on, so i feel like it’s time that i can give a little back here.

my focus is heavily on electronic, hip hop and other closely situated ‘genres’. however, i branch into all things music and audio so let’s talk and see what’s possible!

  • As simple as the tactile nature of outboard gear makes working on this stuff fun and it sounds great. As good as plugins have gotten, they just aren’t the same and don’t achieve that 3 dimensional sound (for me) that I love hearing through analog gear. Now, this isn’t to say that we won’t go hybrid whenever it’s required. That’s absolutely a necessary part of modern workflows and we stay flexible for that reason.

  • Yes, every project gets one round of revisions. However we want to make sure you’re happy so, if need be, we can hop on a real time ‘lossless’ audio share and look at any further revisions together.

  • When done mastering, you will receive the production masters for digital distribution. Standard delivery format is 48 kHz/24 bit WAV. If you’d like another format, just ask me.

If you are planning on a CD release you will also receive a DDP Image for your use. You will also receive a WAV file of the full song sequence so that you can play the album start to finish.

If requested, I will supply you with a cue sheet for your project as well.

  • Nope! I can help you process voice overs, field recordings, audio tracks for your video production, clean up imperfections, pops, clicks, hiss, etc. Let’s talk and see if it’s a good fit!

  • I try not to focus on how ‘loud’ your track will be but rather how impactful the track is once we finish. Loudness is important but as are things like where the drums sit, vocal presence, etc.

  • Get in touch and I will send you a password protected link built just for you and your specific type of music or requested service.

  • Yes, I’ll master with stems or a two track.

  • Converters:
    RME
    Burl

    Other:
    SPL Vitalizer Mk3T
    SSL Fusion
    Stam SA78T+
    Audioscape Gbuss
    Rupert Neve summing

    Software:
    Wavelab Pro 12

  • There is nothing ‘wrong’ with this approach, however you won’t get a collaborative experience and the feedback or techniques that your track deserves. I advocate for supporting local artists, communities and other humans doing what we love here rather than a big company producing AI tools that are automating our art. Invest in what we love.
